Welcome to Wellbeing

We are really enjoying the Welcome to Wellbeing Programme in our classroom. Characters Mo and Ko have taught us some great tools on how to identify our feelings and how to deal with overwhelming emotions. One useful tool the girls have learned is ‘slide breathing’, a simple breathing technique to control and calm those strong emotions. The girls also enjoy a ‘Wellness Walk’ down through Knockrea Lawn. Taking a moment to breathe and soak up the beauty of nature is a welcome pause in our busy school day!
