Confirmation Day

May 24, 2023

On the 19th of April all of sixth class made their confirmation. Luckily the sun was shining and the weather was amazing. We were confirmed by Bishop Patrick Harrington. After the ceremony we all went back to the school to have an after party with our class. After the party everybody then went with their families to celebrate with a lovely dinner. People went to River Lee, The Kingsley, The Metropole, The Maryborough and more. The mass was beautiful and so was the choir which was made up with 4th and 5th class.

It was an amazing experience and we all enjoyed it very much.

Volcanoes

Volcanoes

Rang a haon had so much fun learning all about volcanoes. They researched the names of volcanoes and learned a little about them, labelled diagrams, created fabulous explanation writing pieces and wrote up a science experiment, which they put all together in volcano shaped booklets they made themselves. In art they used plaster and paint to make their own volcanoes and carried out a science experiment to make that volcano explode. What a blast we had!
