Fourth Class had a fantastic morning at The Crawford Art Gallery. Our guide was amazing and she was very impressed by the questions the girls asked !!! It was lovely to see them so engaged as they were taking in all the wonderful pieces of art.

We marked Safer Internet School Day in our school. Each class had a lesson on the topic of staying safe on the internet. There was a poster competition where the girls designed posters to highlight ways to stay safe on the internet. Well done to all the winners....

Science Experiment – Reflection of Light

Fourth Class really enjoyed exploring the topic "Reflection of Light " in our science lesson. They investigated how mirrors and shiny surfaces are good reflectors of light and explored how mirrors invert an image front to back.

Karate Taster Session

Barry O' Regan from The Rising Sun Karate School gave us a karate "Taster Session". The girls learned how to count in Japanese, how to do a rising block and they also practised some  basic kicking techniques. Great fun was had by all !!!
