Tree Planting for 80th Anniversary
Our Lady of Lourdes N.S is 80 years old this year. To mark the very special year we have planted a sapling grown from an acorn which has come all the way from Lourdes itself.
Second Class were delighted to kick start Wellbeing Week with some hockey in the sunshine! We are all looking forward to plenty more great activities in the coming week.
Biodiversity in Second Class
The girls in Second class have been working hard on this brilliant door display showing some of the native bugs in Ireland! All the girls in Our Lady of Lourdes are learning about biodiversity as part of Green Schools.
We made some beautiful Autumn inspired prints in art last week. Second class really enjoyed gathering the leaves in our local area to use for this printmaking lesson.
The girls in first and second class are coming on in leaps and bounds in their Irish dancing.
