The girls enjoyed a Lego Workshop. They made motorised Dragsters and they had great fun racing them around the classroom. They also created mosaic pictures using flat Lego pieces.

Rang a haon had so much fun learning all about volcanoes. They researched the names of volcanoes and learned a little about them, labelled diagrams, created fabulous explanation writing pieces and wrote up a science experiment, which they put all together in volcano shaped booklets they made themselves. In art they used plaster and paint to make their own volcanoes and carried out a science experiment to make that volcano explode. What a blast we had!
Well done to all of the Second Class pupils for taking part in the Our Lady of Lourdes Feis and performing their poems. Everyone worked very hard on them. A special congratulations to this years prize winners!
