People matter at Our Lady of Lourdes. Each and every child is cherished and respected. It is hoped to foster in each pupil a positive sense of self worth and of belonging and pride in Our Lady of Lourdes School.

Our staff is deeply committed to achieving these aims. We work as a dedicated team under the purposeful, informed and progressive leadership of the principal. Every staff member makes a valuable contribution to Curriculum Planning and is involved in the decision making process. Teachers assume responsibility and have high standards and personal vision.

We see our school as a partnership between parents and teachers in which we work together to enable each child to realise her potential, so that she may go on to lead a full life in society.

We acknowledge the support of a hard-working Board of Management who have a clear understanding of the school’s aims and objectives. We also acknowledge the ongoing support and fund-raising efforts of the Parents’ Association who are very committed to providing extra learning opportunities for the children, classroom resources and support for school social events. In partnership with parents and Board of Management, we endeavour to provide a quality education for the whole child.
