Welcome to Our Lady of Lourdes
National School
Our Lady of Lourdes is a warm, welcoming and inclusive school. It is the oldest school in the parish of Ballinlough, having been established in 1943. It has always been at the heart of the community.
Every child is valued here, and every child is made to feel that they belong. This school is a caring community with a long tradition of academic excellence, music and the arts. Children flourish in Our Lady of Lourdes, because we take a holistic approach to education. The intellectual, emotional, social, physical, artistic, and creative development of each child is a priority. It is important to us that the children in our care are happy and that they reach their full potential.
At the end of 8 years in Our Lady of Lourdes School, the children leave us as well-rounded individuals with the skills needed for continuous learning. They also leave with very happy memories and a life-long attachment to the school.
People matter in Our Lady of Lourdes.
